he didn't say EXACTLY that, but it seemed to be the general idea...
"Because liberals are responsible for the bloated government bureaucracy that exists today. Liberals have been running their agenda for over fifty years and we have seen terrible results with no accountability. Liberals are also responsible for PC culture that we live in today. That's just the tip of the iceberg."

well... I was mainly asking because it seems that the U.S. over the past 50-60 years has seen arguably the greatest growth of any nation in the history of the world in a similar time period...
I'll take the blame for that, if that's where you want to place it...

We've also seen the greatest attacks upon our liberties, rights and freedoms by the liberals. Are you going to take credit for that, too?

The Senate was controlled by the Democratic Party from 1955 - 1981, and then after that time period it went back and forth. The Democrats had the House from 1955 until 1995 when Newt and the gang came in. That's a pretty significant chunk of time and think about how vastly this country changed in that period for good and ill.

Our growth has been phenomenal over the last 50 years, DESPITE liberal influence on restricting business and bloating government. The crux of the conservative philosophy is for government to get out of the way of business, lower taxes to promote growth and get half of those government employees out into the private sector, producing something for other countries to buy.

i think of that Eisenhower stayed on funds, his replaced into the final valuable repuglican presidency. yet conservatives have been given taken over after Nixon by employing the far good fundamentalist and it relatively is likewise going to be the downfall of the occasion, in the event that they do no longer pass to the middle i do no longer see the repuglicans being in ability for a protracted, long term.

Liberals and conservatives alike blame the other for the problems of the past 50 years and take credit for the successes. In that sense, they are both pretty much the same.

I think the elite and corporations buying politicians on both sides is the single greatest flaw and inefficiency in helping america become the best it can be.

Cons have proven themselves time and time again to me that they are not particularly thoughtful and respond more to fear and authority than logic. Libs are not perfect either but it is important to think outside the box sometimes and that does not seem to be a con trait.
