Do conservatives believe that liberals are responsible for the U.S. government actions of the past 50 years?

well... I was mainly asking because it seems that the U.S. over the past 50-60 years has seen arguably the greatest growth of any nation in the history of the world in a similar time period...

I think the elite and corporations buying politicians on both sides is the single greatest flaw and inefficiency in helping america become the best it can be.

Cons have proven themselves time and time again to me that they are not particularly thoughtful and respond more to fear and authority than logic. Libs are not perfect either but it is important to think outside the box sometimes and that does not seem to be a con trait.
