I have never reached my goals in life. Be it high or low.

But I'm content with what measly accomplishment I've gained so far.

There isn't anything sad about a goal too high. We all have limits, and reaching beyond them is never a sad thing. It's noble. A goal too low is sad because I should have expected more of myself. It's my low self-opinion that makes it sad.

Nothing is sad....both are worth an experience..you just have to be more practical and realistic in life..meaning for every goal you want to reach and failed..think that it wasn't meant for you,so there is another chance for you, there is no such thing as a low goal.....if you were able to get it then Thank God, use it as a stepping stone to reach your higher goals and not be pessimistic and depressed about it....all things happen for a reason..so no matter what goal you want to aim..you are always faced with many different hurdles in life ok???nothing to be sad about..life is a learning process...

The goal you missed. Reaching a goal, no matter how low, is always good!

A goal too low that you reached. It's too easy. There's no effort in something like that. If you set a very high goal, but didn't reach it, you could at least say that you tried your hardest. You could be proud of that.

I believe that the wise thing is to set goals within reach. Or just a bit further than that. Once this goal is reached, than we can set another one even further. We must proceed step by step, otherwise, as we say in Greece, "we lose the ball".

I always set my goals high, then I have something to work for. Set them low and you gain very little, kind of like the way schools work now.

Setting them too low would be sad. Always set your goals high because eventually you'll reach it. (^^,)
