I don't think you can actually segregate this idea of women.

In other words, everyone has their lies, some truthfully told and others hidden. You cannot just point directly at asians and claim they are more cunning than other women.

It's more of a racist question if you ask me ...

I don't think so. Maybe what you mean by cunning is actually cautious. I believe that most Asian women would take a relationship very seriously because in general they want long lasting relationship. SO they might have to test out the relationship many many times until they are completely satisfied. As a result, people perceive Asian women are too calculating.

I'm not sure if they are cunning, but the ones I've met or dated have been either extra conservative or hyper carefree, theres no middle ground, which drives me mad.

To the Asian women, the word 'love' is new to the vocabulary. Really, only a few hundred years.

Honor, trust, honesty, obedience (with a few conditions) and loyalty, however, are part and parcel to the Asian relationship.

'Adoration' was an emotion usually relegated to lovers as a frivolity. Adoration and passion were things reserved for courtesans and concubines, not wives.

Wives were expected to hold and manage the money (his and hers) stock and manage the house (cleanliness, food supplies, obedience of children and servants, etc.)

Of course, there are some differences from Chinese to Japanese to Korean to Vietnamese, etc, but that, by and large, is the dynamic. If a woman was not a shrewd manager, she simply was not wife material. Remember that, historically, girl children were considered unhelpful or useless commodities, to be sold off very young for food or resources, unless she could prove herself to be prettier, smarter, craftier, than her peers.

So, from time immemorial, the Asian woman could not be just pretty, or she was sold to a courtesan house (especially in the case of poor peasant families) she also had to be a good manager. Generally, it was only in the aristocracy that women had any room for training and education, anyway.

In short, they are raised way. Of course, our modern era has changed much of that (depending on the country) but the ethic is still there.

Asian women are more possessive than europe/american women. While asian women usually sticks to the one they love, Europe/american women tends to change lovers frequently. So in order to keep their lovers to themselves, the asian women will have to be a bit more cunning than the rest. Some of the europe/american women change lovers every week, so they don't care who their current lovers screw. This is just my point of view. No offense to the rest. I wrote this answer based on experience.

I am an American. I have lived in Asia for 6 years. Depends on where they are from. If the are from South Asia and families are poor. They will try their best to marry you for financle reasons. Other countries in Asia, Its there customs for the men to chace them and take care of them.

They have to make up for their lower status in Asian society; they perhaps can't be as up front or straightforward as Euro/Ami women and need to get around obstacles by navigating around them. Stealthily.
