try good lighting when you are doing something tricky that requires you to look at it alot. I knitted through the whole steelers game today and I am exhausted, I think I strained my eyes.

Are you a beginner knitter?
If so, maybe it is the tension of doing something you are not familiar with.

If not, read on.
If you get extremely tired of knitting, try to change the way you knit.
If you hold the needles properly, in a style fitted for you, you can go on for a whole day without problems.
I found that when I changed over to continental knitting I could knit much longer without tiring, and get a better result too (after the initial adjustment period.)

Yes sometimes. I find this is because your brain somewhat slows down as you knit row after row, and the process is mesmorizing as it goes back and forth. When you put your brain on autopilot because you know exactly what you're doing over and over, it somewhat makes me feel tired/sleepy, but that feeling helps me sleep better. Sorry if I'm not that helpful!

Are you getting at least an hour of exercise every day? Perhaps your body wants to go into sleep mode because you don't get the endorphins going. Do you get a good solid block of sleep at night?
