Interesting question.
Developed countries: Will throw the food and the fly.
Under-developed countries: Will throw the fly and eat the food.
Some backward countries: Will eat both the food and the fly.
Some Oriental countries: Will throw the food and eat the fly.
It's all about economic independance and taste buds!!

Yes, knowing how little difference it makes.
If you ever read the USA's Food and Drug Administration's list of ALLOWABLE parts per million of insect parts, rat hairs and that sort of thing you'd never eat store bought food again.

No when flies land on food they actually try to ea it then puke it out also if your in Africa diseases could be spread
