Because flowers represent the female reproductive system.

Edit: To clarify, flowers are symbolism for the female reproductive system, the shape of the flowers are similar to vagina.

There is no escaping the reality that flowers are the genitalia of plants. Flowers emerge during the plant's reproductive phase and they are the site of reproduction.

Flowers are more feminine because they are delicate, sometimes fragile, pretty, smell nice, and are to be admired. And this is why, we within the t/v, c/d community want to be a "part" of this, and flowers are always "accepted"

I would disagree because the flower actully is the male and female reproductive unit of the angiosperm.
