Ok, long story short, I'm in college and I can't seem to get past math 030, which is equivalent to the SECOND year of high school algebra (taken usually about your Junior year). I've always had issues with math since I was a kid.

I was wondering, how hard is a Statistics math class? Would this be a good alternative?

I think stats would be a hard course if you don't like math. Some of the concepts would be easy (i.e. MEAN, median, mode), but college classes would likely move FAST, and you would have to stomach a lot of stuff that a person who loves math already grasps.

i.e. probability, binomial distribution

You sound like a smart guy. Major in business ,& do the best you can. Im sure you can pass the math if you set your mind to it. But study political science as well. That would give you insight that is lacking in most political science grads. And more knowledge of what it takes to make $$. Best of luck to you my friend!

I think they use too many weird formulas to get to the answers and way to many Greek symbols. I am taking it for the 3rd time and i always get straight a's in every other class. so yea it is hard

There's a fair bit of algebra in it. So if you're not good at algebra, i suggest you take another course.
