Whining is not censure. Laying on the floor, kicking and screeching is not censure. Bush and Cheney know who the liars are, as do most people in the US and they employ the best strategy against them - they ignore them. Every politician lies, partly because we let them get away with it. Bush and Cheney abuse the privilege though.

A lot has to do with the war. Anyone who criticizes the war can be called a traitor, so the news media take Bush very seriously and act like he knows what he's talking about.

Another part of it is political polarization of the country. A lot of people will follow the Republicans no matter what. They are never able to admit that their party are a bunch of crooks, so they will make any excuse rather than admit it. And the radio waves are full of right-wing shills that give them things to say, things they repeat like parrots without really understanding. Like about the war on Iraq being about terrorism. Or Hillary being a 'socialist'.

If Bush and Cheney had lied (under oath) they would have been impeached by now, so obviously they haven't lied. So far, only one President has been impeached for lying and that was Bill Clinton. And now his wife, another liar, is attempting to become president. Recently in one interview she said that she supported NY Governor Spitzer's plan to give licenses to illegal aliens. When asked in another interview why she supported Spitzer's licensing plan, she denied ever saying that.

One of the big secrets about terrorists is they thought they could bring down the world economy (our quality of life and civilization) by destroying a fair chunk of the world's petroleum distribution system. I guess you don't realize what would happen TO ANY COUNTRY ON THIS PLANET if enough of the oil distribution were interrupted. Besides not being able to drive your car, YOU COULD EASILY FREEZE IN THE WINTER. So for all of the dummies that said Bush only did this for oil, understand that without oil, the world stops turning. So yes, this war did have to do a lot with oil. Take away any country's food and you will have a war. Take away any country's land, and you will have a war. Well, taking away any country's energy source will also cause a war.

BUT THE PART THAT REALLY HURTS ME PERSONALLY, IS THE FACT THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO COME INTO OUR COUNTRY AND DESTROY OUR PYRAMIDS ON SEPTEMBER 11th. (I watched the buildings fall that day. If you didn't, try YouTube.) Over three thousand people died that day. It was America's job to protect those people. The fact that we've been at war for these few years and only lost only a little over 3,000 of our God Blessed soldiers is proof of how well we can fight a modern war. When we were fighting for your grandfather's freedom, to remove the last scourge of the planet, (Hitler), 20 MILLION OF OUR SOLDIERS DIED.

SO YOU COULD HAVE THE LIFE YOU HAVE TODAY.
