When I was a kid I dreamed that I would be successful in my career. I would have my Masters in Psychology and would be a wonderful therapist for children and families. I would also have been a kindergarten teacher. I would of won the lotto and opened up a shelter for at risk families and single moms struggling. I would also have a center for runaway teens to provide necessary services to reunite them with family or somewhere safe as well as treat them for there pain and help them become successful in life with tools. I would somewhere along the way meet Mr. right. He would sweep me off my feet and be my best est friend in the world. We would marry and have twelve kids of our own and purchase a home on the beach.
Now, I am barely working in the field of my choice, at entry level as I am working ever so hard on my first degree. I have children from many fathers, none that have swept me off my feet, to say the least. And the one I did marry lasted for a month. I rent a small hut, far from the beach. I have one run a way child and my lotto keeps saying " sorry, not a winner". That is how my dreams have turned out. LOL

I dreamed that I was a prodigy who would make my family proud. I also dreamed that I would a be a romantic hero who would back friends up in fights and try to get the girl I want.
As you can see I only get ok grades so I'm no prodigy. I did back my friends up in fights before but I got hurt pretty bad. I can't get the girls I want because I was shy back then but even now with confidence to speak to girls I like I still can't. I can't because I assume white girls would never like an Asian guy like me... even if they implied they did...
So don't worry your not the only one.

i always thought i would be happy and getting good grades in school.
i still just want to be happy, but i couldn't care less about school anymore. doesn't mean anything to me.
