Hi friends.
Do you know what causes emphases ripple marks?
I mean what's the reason?
You know that usual ripple marks are like this:
)---)---)
)---)---) --------> Current Direction
)---)---)
But emphases ripple marks are like this:
)-------)
----)----
)-------) --------> Current Direction
----)----
)-------)

???

I have never heard of emphasis ripple marks. But that's doesn't mean they don't exist.....I guess. Maybe I know them under a different name.

Current ripple marks are asymmetrical in profile with a steep up-current side and a gentle down-current side.

Wave-formed ripple marks are sinusoidal in profile.
