The US did (See Blue Book Project), but the government was not believed when they decided that UFO's did not come from alien civilizations.
After that, they got tired of arguing with zealots and being told that they were hiding things. So, they (the government), prefers to say nothing.
Now the Soviets, they encouraged UFO belief because it hid their aeronautics and space research efforts.

Why would a government on an other planet deep in space spend all that money to travel light years to come to earth and not land in a major city and try to communicate with officials? Why would the Government try to cover up UFO? Do you realize how many people there are and have been in the government and the secret has never leaked out? It was not Neal Armstrong, it was John Glenn. It was later determined to be ice crystals from the space craft that were "following" him.
I do not care if you are American or Russian, get a life. Worry about important things, like who is going to get the gold medal in hockey next time.

Almost nobody of any importance, nobody with real information or real intelligence believes that UFOs are extraterrestrial spacecraft. This belief is mostly confined to fools, frauds, the half educated and the half insane. Governments have been ignoring the issue for decades because it is well understood to be the province of half wits.
The truth about UFOs is that they are unidentified flying objects, misinterpreted atmospheric phenomena, sometimes bright stars or meteors but mostly actual aircraft, military or civil.
It does not matter how much the half wits bleat for the "truth" to be told, the truth has been told many times, but the morons and idiots who believe in extraterrestrial visitors don't like it. The truth is that they are wrong. Imbeciles.

A lot of people over the years have thought they were Napoleon, but that doesn't mean they were right. No doubt there is intelligent life in space, but that does not necessitate the likelihood that intelligent life is flying light years to visit us. That's quite a stretch in logic, actually. So long as there is no concrete evidence to what exactly UFOs are and so long as there are plenty of alternative explanations, the government is never going to admit this. In other words, they don't admit it because they don't believe it.

Because when it does tell you about them, you don't believe it and because UFO means Unidentified Flying Object but you want to know about Alien Piloted Spacecraft and nobody has any evidence that all those reports have anything to do with APS or how they would get here from far, far, away.

im with you man. But. Quite frankly, why should they? It will just cause more contreversy, ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW. if a candidate mentions something about a ufo, that candidate will surely be left behind. Is up to us to get the information. maybe one day they will make contact with the whole world. Mexico is indeed a hotspot. Maybe it has something to do with the mayans and the pyramids.

Why would the US be the UFOs hot spot? The US only represents 5% of earths population. The rest of the world would be equally interesting to aliens. So the US can keep their secrets all they want. Why are Zimbabwe covering their alien crashes up? Or Moldovia? Uruguay? Mongolia? Bangladesh? Russia?

I was just told tonight that there is legislation to make public the findings that the government has been withholding for decaded on this next coming Monday...........believe it or not! The government does not want mass hysteria................which would of course happen if they told the truth. Think about it:
There have been accounts of abduction: Testings, inserts of chips into the body ( like we do with birds to analyse they flight patterns.) There have been accounts of embriotic theft..........to analyse our love and emotion patterns enherant to our species. We are being watched for sure.................whether it is to learn from us or to find out why we are so self destructive and anialant as a race...........is yet to be determined. Scary stuff. It would lead to chaos, and..................loss of control,...............which the government, so much is in love with.

The term alien craft stands for unidentified flying merchandise. How can lighting fixtures in the sky can contaminate the church of Christ? or whether they're alien spacecraft, how do they contaminate the Church? perhaps, they too, have self assurance in God. Many contactees state that it rather is a fact.
