How many times do you wash you jeans?

I know that this might sound really dirty, but i hardly wash mine. I brought them for like nearly 200 dollars and hardly wash any of them. i have heaps but like i dont think i'd washed any of them. i only washed the ones that had be stained or when i know that i'd been sitting on something dirty. I also wash them when they feel dirty. Usually i would wash one jean when it reaches the 3-4 month mark sometimes 5-6 months. Plus i go to school, and only wear them on the weekends. What about everyone else? How many times do you wear your jeans before you wash them?

In just 20 minutes, there are so many answers. Thankyou for everyone answering. But i just want to make it clear, that i am talking about jeans, not socks or underwear. And for socks and underwear i only wear it once. For me, for t shirts i also have to wear it 1-2 times.

And another thing, i am talking about heaps of pair of jeans. I am not intending that i wear the same pair, again and again for months and months. And how is it skanky? Some people can really have mean answers. i can understand why people would wash it each time they wear their jeans. Thankyou for being honest.

Ewwwwww....I wash any item of clothing after I wear it ONCE. If you can't afford to wash your clothes buy less expensive clothes.

I typically wear mine 2-3 before washing them, they feel so nice "broken in" after you wear them once. Of course, if I spill something on them or if they smell bad, they get washed right away. I have a grubby old pair that I just wear around the house to clean, do yard work, etc. - they only get washed about once per week.

I wash my jeans every 3-4 wearings, unless they get dirty in a stinky or obvious way. Also I wash them when they get too loose (which happens after you wear them a few times). The more you wash clothes the more worn they get anyway.

I'm shocked to see these answers. I wash all items usually after one wear. However, if I don't have clothes clean, I'll occasionally wear the same pants 2 days in a row, but it feels dirty and I don't like to. If I was going to go that long without washing my jeans, I think I would at least put them in the dryer on permanent press for a few minutes with a dryer sheet just to make sure they don't stink, because you may not smell your own smell on them.........just a suggestion.

i have like 6 pairs of jeans so i usually can wear each like 5 times before i wash them. i usually just wear em and then hang them back up but usually after about 2 weeks or so i wash them

I usually wash my jeans after 4-5 wearings. Unless they get dirty or smell from being in smoky bars.

I wash my jeans after wearing them once or twice. I don't own jeans that expensive anyways. I just throw them in the washing machine and let them hang dry and they're good to wear. I have skin asthma so I have to keep my things clean as dust free as much as possible.

that's kinda gross.
if you wear them once or twice, thats fine.

at least soak/rinse them in cold water to get the smell out. and are 200 dollar jeans really worth the 200 bucks? common, the same pair will be at winners next season, or on sale for 40 to 70 -- which is reasonable.

i wash them every 4 times BUt if i have used the bus to go to college i wash them the same day i used it. You know that all kind of people use the bus seats

I wash mine when they need to be washed. Cant think of anything worse than jeans with a smell crotch.

Depends on how often do I wear them. If I wear them every day - then usually once a week, or sooner if they seem dirty. If I wear them once a year - then once in 7 years.

Umm, did you check if your nose is working? Cause that sounds stinky.
