it's almost funny...
they blame everything on liberals refusing to take responsibilty...
but in doing so, they are shifting the responsibilty for everything onto the liberals, thus not taking any responsibilty themselves...
what are the odds that it's all the liberals fault? and wouldn't it at least be conservatives' fault for sitting by and letting liberals do it?

Liberals and conservatives both do this, and the reason is actually pretty easy to understand. Liberals believe that the way they want to run the country is the /best/ way to run a country. Conservatives, likewise. Where the two differ, each sees the problems thier way of doing things as minor, or worth the 'cost' to accomplish something better.
So, when a Conservative sees the disintegration of the 'American Family,' for instance, he blames it on the policies of and social changes wrought by liberals. When a liberal looks at the same phenomenon, he sees not the disintegration of families, but the large number of children living in poverty, and blames the conservative congress who gutted wellfare in the 90s.

It's very ironic how conservatives constantly claim to be victims (look at recent events on this forum but everywhere if you look with an open mind. Iraq ,the trillion dollar debt, illegal imigration), something they love to stereotype liberals with. It's never their lies, cheating and hate that gets them into trouble no it are evil liberals and their almighty bias.
I'm really convinced American conservatism, the hard core kind anyway has turned into a religious cult and they think it's them against the evil outside world. They are the sole bearers of the Holy Truth and must defend America by any means necessary, including slander( think Clinton bodycount but that list is endless really) against the dangerous liberals who'll turn America in a communist third world country.
Reality science, reason and facts are less important than the ideology. The American political climate is seriously poisoned. The power of the far regressive right in combination with the disconnect from reality and seeing enemies everywhere is dangerous.
The problem with conservatives isn't the everyday conservatives themselves; it's the people they listen to. Conservative leaders, in their vilification of liberals, tell so many lies about what liberals are supposed to believe, support, say, do, etc., that the everyday conservatives end up hating a fictional enemy. If what the pundits said about liberals was true, I'd be a hardcore conservative.
If liberals were so terrible, these pundits and politicians would have no reason to lie at all. They could just recite facts and let them stand for themselves. Instead they take part in character assassination and avoid speaking about actual issues. They make blanket statements that have no basis in fact. What's worse is that many of them cloak their rhetoric in a pseudo-Christian guise to act as if God is somehow on their side (even though the Bible basically tells them to pray quietly and stay out of politics).
Virtually all of the lies that are told about liberals are easily shattered with the barest attempt at rationality and reason. The facts stand for themselves, yet so much mud is slung that the facts are like gems buried under several feet of mud. The facts are there, and are obvious and clear, but unfortunately one must dig through all the crap that is spewed in order to bring them to light. When one digs a handful of it away, the pundits are expert at piling on even more crap, or more often, will distract and divert away from the digging.

Liberals and conservatives both attempt this, and the reason being absolutely fairly elementary to comprehend. Liberals believe that the way they prefer to run the country is the /wonderful/ thanks to run a rustic. Conservatives, likewise. the position both fluctuate, each and each and every sees the themes thier way of doing issues as minor, or properly absolutely worth the 'value' to finish something extra positive. So, at the same time as a Conservative sees the disintegration of the 'American relatives,' for instance, he blames it on the regulations of and social variations wrought through liberals. at the same time as a liberal seems on a similar phenomenon, he sees no longer the disintegration of households, notwithstanding the tremendous style of little ones living in poverty, and blames the conservative congress who gutted wellfare contained in the 90s.

The key to your question is Most Problems. Conservatives do in fact have and cause some problems. It is the current problems in whole are at Most caused by liberal ideals.
Arguably, most of our problems come from Political Correctness, everyone wanting some sort of legislation to prevent them from being Offended, legislation or attempts to force people to accept something, and social programs designed steal from the people who earn money and give to those who don't.
If we solve enough of our problems to where the ones created by conservatives are more noticeable, we can discuss those too. Unfortunately, looking at liberal tendencies, they don't like to solve problems, only figure out ways to blame them on others and use them to get and keep power.

Blame has become a game of politics. I measure a politician by his/her ability to use issues and ideas to arrive at solutions. Using blame turns me off. As a businessperson, I can say this is also true in the workplace. Blame=nonproductive...and as far as political parties, it goes both ways, however I see most of it coming from the left.

No, of course they don't. That's why they are closed minded idiots who can't accept people of different races, sexualities, and genders. They are all racist, sexist, and homophobic, and they blame the left for things like minorities unfortunately being at the lowest income bracket because the left only pretends to care. They blame the left for killing babies when the child is not a child yet, and if it was going to be born, then it would have a miserable life since the parents couldn't take care of it. But we should just have every child anyway. That way the right can get more taxes. They blame the left for moral values going out the window because they don't have a problem with homosexuals. Well, since when was it moral to deny another person happiness, i.e. marriage? Wasn't this country founded on the idea of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Well, if we don't allow them to marry who they want, then they are loosing one of their most fundamental rights. But we can't forget that the left is immoral since they can actually accept people for who they are, and not worry about the fact that they might be homosexual. You know, I can only think of one woman who is a prominent republican , and many women who are prominent democrats. Condi Rice is the conservative. On the left there is Clinton, Woopi Goldburg, (I know I didn't spell her name right) Rosy O'Donnell, just to name a few.
The right never takes responsibility for anything. It's all about the money, and the left doesn't really care. They are just faking it.

Nope. Conservatives pin the blame on liberals, and liberals pin the blame on conservatives. It's a vicious downward spiral that prevents people from reaching a concensus and actually solving any of the problems.
