....get a little drippy when they have these fantasies about Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney being prosecuted for defending their country? I mean, I know they are desperately looking for a compelling false-flag issue like Global Warming to distract from the real issues and take control, but it's starting to seem somewhat like a frenzy. Ever since 9/11 when black turned out to be the winning color and they found themselves stuck with the white pieces, they've been circling like sharks. Do they really imagine there will be a climax of prosecutions to undo it all for them? ...make the world forget they took the wrong side?

Yes "g", 2 years and 7 years are the same thing and of course you don't get it. That's the thing about you people. You just don't get it. Republicans bet on America and Democrats bet on Democrats. ...now the left thinks they can get a do-over on bended knee to the Judiciary.

"Do they really imagine there will be a climax of prosecutions to undo it all for them?"

A prosecution CAN be a distraction, such as when it is for lying about a non-crime such as adultery. A prosecution can also be to punish felonies such as lying to start an unjustified war, outing a secret agent, or authorizing warrantless wiretapping. As a law abiding American, I am glad that these serious crimes are being investigated, because that means that justice is being pursued.

You also ask about taking the "wrong side". Some Democrats in Congress did take the wrong side five years ago when they took the word of George Bush and acquiesced to an unnecessary and unjustified military action against Saddam.

Along with the rest of the country, the Democrats in Congress have suffered for their naivete. However, they are slowly learning that they must resist the power grabs of this petulant "unitary executive" and restore Congress to its rightful status as a branch of government co-equal to the president.

why do insane right wingers cry about left wingers being "drippy"? I remember how rediculous conservatives were going after Clinton, with no care for any other issue in the world for 2 or so years there... remember that?

the Dem congress has pretty much decided they aren't going to do it, last time I checked... and they are actually working on issues...

and I have no clue what you're talking about "winning and losing" on 9-11? didn't we all lose on that day?

why don't you try to explain what you're saying, instead of assuming everyone on the same crazy mental wavelength as you are next time...

This isn't Stephen Colbert, is it?

It better be because I've never heard anyone do a Republican parody as good as that who's name wasn't Stephen Colbert.
