I'm the type of person who dresses in "comfy" clothes. I prefer Converse Chuck Taylors to stupid pointy high heels that squish your toes. I prefer t-shirts to blouses that you constantly have to readjust so it hangs just right. I prefer jeans to skirts & pantyhose. When I'm at home by myself I lounge around in men's thermal shirts & flannel pajama bottoms. However, I wonder if my opinion is purely subjective. There may be some women who feel comfortable in stupid pointy high heels, dressy blouses, skirts, & pantyhose. So, my question, what are the most comfortable clothes, in your opinion?

T-shirts, Chucks, and Jeans are the best!!! I pretty much have worn the same thing for the last 20 years! I rarely have to go to anything too dressy and most people we know prefer BBQ's to dress up dinners. I have the standard all occasion sexy black dress and heels for those occasional dressy situations.

Without a doubt, the most comfy clothes to me are sweat/lounge/pajama pants with a t-shirt. But, I also find jeans and a casual top comfortable too.. it really just depends on my mood. Either way, though, as soon as I come home, the jeans come off and the lounge stuff goes on.

And, on a side note, I'd prefer cute, comfy ballet flats over pointy heels anytime!

Well, I usually try to wear a nice top when going out maybe a dressy top and sometimes a tee, and for colder weather a sweater, I mostly wear jeans I don't wear skirts (except one I got form hot topic 2 yrs ago it was floor length and not very comfy but I don't wear it anymore) and as for shoes during the summer I usually were plain flip-flops, occasionally a high heel, and during the winter I were those comfy flat boots not uggs but they kinda look like them.

Around the house it's p.j's & tees

What you describe is so comfortable it makes me uncomfortable. I still try to keep the balance between comfort and style. At home (I live alone) I don't bother dressing, a robe will suffice. At work - jeans and a stretchy stylish top, a pair of flats or low heels. Oh, and for the dressy shoes - pointy high heels that DON'T squish my toes. I select my shoes very carefully.

Some people would criticize with what I wear, but it doesn't matter. I wear what I like to wear because this is how I am. I've always been a sneakers-kind-of-gal and I love it, and sometimes it doesn't hurt to show a little feet. I adore wearing shirts with my fave record label on it, to show my admiration for several bands. I even wear those watches that no longer work, in a hipster fashion way haha! I don't follow the trends in the society. As the saying goes: "They laugh at me because I'm different, and I laugh at them because they're all the same!"

I'm most comfy in jeans and tees too. I love Chucks (I collect them!) and ballet flats. I make up for it with dressier accessories like bags, jackets and jewelry. When the occassion calls for dressing up in heels and dressy clothes, just make sure you feel confident in what you're wearing and the last thing you'll think of is how uncomfortable they are :)

Personally, I feel strangled in jeans and prefer to wear vintage dresses, flats, and cardigans.

In the summer, my girlfriend and I are normally nude around the house, or sometimes just in sheer silk robes or kimonos. In the fall and winter it's tights for me and bodystockings for her. Both sensual and comfortable.
