More to the point, what difference does it make if they are removed? I can instantly think of at least ten countries who once had a monarchy , got rid of them and are now in big trouble. Removing a monarchy does not stop the politicians of a country from ruining it. Having a monarch makes no difference

From ancient times, monarchies have existed. Every major nation in the world had a king. Succession rights were passed down through the male line. Since monarchies are hereditary, the only way to get rid of monarchs would be to kill the entire royal family and clan.

In today's society, the government structure of each and every nation has to officially recognize the royal lineage. Lineages don't overnight disappear. So, therefore royal families, kings and queens, still exist to this day.

In China, their royal family has to be indigenous Han-Chinese. These people still exist as a family structure, royal family structure, as of this day.

FIRST EDIT:
Kings and queens still exist in this world, either as rulers or as symbols of their nation. In some nations they still exist as their system has not been overthrown. Example, Norway with a constitutional monarch or Arab nations with a Sheik or Emir.

Yes, but they are not as in much power than back in the days. But some kings and queens do still rule even today.

They're certainly cheaper. Look at the economical performance of monarchies vs. presidential.
The Euro stands at almost US$ 1.50 after 7 years of starting off at 1:1.

Why not? I'm British and i'm proud to come from a place where we have a queen. Plus with a queen or king, our anthem would probably suck but with one, we have one of the best! Long may it continue!

because most people are sheep.. they need to be told how to run there lives and cant think for themselves.. also they think its more regal if a country has a king or queen.. personally i think those kings and queens are to lazy to work so they instill this fiction that countries need royalty.. the queen can go hang herself.. my tax money going to waste..

I wasn't aware that the British were so uncomfortable living under a monarchy. Trust me - as an American - the alternative to your royal family is NOT worth it.
