Sorry if I p*ssed anyone off, I just wondered, being a white guy. I can't think of any name that would offend me personally. Obviously others can. I CERTAINLY don't condone the use of the N word or any othe offensive words by ANY race - and I hear it a lot more from blacks than I do whites. I'm just sayin'...

Seriously, I did some research on the origin of the 'N' word if that's what you prefer to call it. The slave traders were originally Spanish traders who would by the "Black Slaves" in Africa and transport them to other countries. They simply called the slaves "blacks". Of course in Spanish the word black is *****. The derogatory 'n' word originated with the slaves themselves, who didn't speak English or Spanish, and mispronounced the word. It wasn't meant to be an insulting word, but after the slaves had been freed, the word stuck like glue, for it had been around many decades by then. It got to be a derogatory word when the freed slaves started trying to get the same rights and privileges that was afforded the people who had formerly owned them. It has evolved since then to the status it now enjoys. As for me, the worst thing you could call me would be 'stupid'. Cracker, Honky, Hunky, or Pasty Face White Boy have no effect on me whatsoever. I've been called them all. Like I said, just call me for supper.
