No. People should not be able to sue McDonald`s for making them for nor cigarette companies for giving them lung cancer. It was the consumer`s choice to buy the products. No one forced them to. The customers is what makes McDonald's or cigarette companies so big. Without people buying it, they would have shut it down years ago.

Yes, blame yourself for indulging in this junk, not that it's made in the first place and sold. NO ONE makes a person fat, but that person! Suing seems to be the great American pasttime and it should be a jail sentence for stupidity for anyone who would think to sue because they're grossly overweight and can't push away from the table and exercise. Such stupidity is sad and rampant. I was overweight for a time until I pushed away from the table and not once did I blame anyone for that weight problem, but myself. No one force fed me and no one is force feeding the people who get addicted to bad foods.

Hahaha! Get whacked... Oh that Ronald McDonald is quite a character. I rarely eat at McDonald's but enjoy the occasional meal. Those people think if you sue them, the money will come. WRONG. You'll just end up fatter, poorer, embarrassed and more miserable. Let Ronald get on with dancing with the mcnuggets, or whatever it is he seems to do.

I agree with you, nobody made them eat the food that may have made them overweight and nobody broke into their home and stole the fiber that would've helped them pass that food out a little faster. I suppose people should be able to sue companies for superfluous reasons so that they can make ends meet if that's what the law encourages.

Absolutely not! That's one thing wrong with this country today, the total lack of accountability! No one put a gun to anyones head and made them eat that food or light up that cigarette. Our legal system would also benefit from the loss of all that unnecessary litigation.

LOL! That is a very good point and question!! But personally, I do not think that people could sue the fast food companies for making them fat because it was their own choice to go and eat the food!!

I dont think so, because it is your choice if you eat alot of it or a small portion of it. McDonalds has nothing to do with how much you eat. Cigarette companies shouldnt either (although, I wish they did) because we were all told not to smoke, so we made the mistake.

Nope, I don't think they should be able to do that. It is the person's own free will, their own choice, to eat the food or smoke the cigarettes. No one held a gun to their heads and told them to eat the food or smoke, so why should they blame someone else for their own choices? They should take responsibility for them.

I've always felt that way. The type of people who would sue McDonald's are the greedy and unethical people.
