I have to make a game for my college psychology class, using vocabulary from 2 chapters. We are not suppose to use the same game someone else has used. Like: Jeopardy, Basketball, or bingo. If someone has any ideas about a game i could make i would appreciate it. Thanks

How about something like a word jumble. Where you take the letters that make up the word and mix them up so then you have to unsrammble the words to get the key words.

Example: yschopolyg
Answer: psychology

hmmmmmmmm - Here's a game - that changes
everytime you play it

Use a college dictionary

Each person gets a piece opf paper and a pen
(same size - same color)

First person finds a word- - writes down the #1 definition
VERBATIM from the dictionary
All others write their definitions - then pass papers to #1 person

who shuffles the papers - then reads all the 'definitions'
the second time reading - players vote for the definition they feel is correct

scoring - people get 1 point for someone choosing the def. they wrote/and
#1 peron get a point for everyone that was fooled
and people get 1 point each for getting the right answer

Lets Play:

Chevrotain: the V-shaped wake behind a powered motorboat

Chevrotain: the circular patterened collar of 18th century English fashion.

Chevrotain: A small, nubian deer

Chevrotain: The emblems on the uniformed arms of military
personnel which denote their rank.

The correct answer is one of the four: Which did you choose?

Actually, it's a deer!

Don't know if that will fit the bill for your vocabulary words,
but it's a fun game anyhow!

all the best

Maybe something like the old gameshow called "Pyramid"...

Pyramid is an American television game show where contestants tried to guess a series of words or phrases, based on descriptions that were given to them by their teammates. It won nine Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Game Show.

Now currently a board game called Taboo.

Just a suggestion....;-)

Also, the game previously mentioned by tom4.., is called Balderdash. Very fun game! LOL

Probably the easiest games that you could make are a crossword puzzle or a wordsearch. You could even search online for a website that generates such games for free. I've done that in the past and it works pretty well.
