Thank you for this heartfelt posting! As the daughter of a three war veteran, I truly appreciate your message. My father fought in WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. My uncle was killed in the Korean War and my brother is a Major in the Air Force. Now, my guy is getting ready to ship off to join the Marines. I am so proud of all our military personnel past, present, and future! Thank you for all the sacrifices you've made so that we can continue to enjoy our freedom in this great land of ours! Happy Veteran's Day! I love you and I miss you Dad!

Come visit us at the Veteran's Memorial down at the county courthouse where we'll have a formal recognition and remembrance ceremony tomorrow afternoon. Check your local newspaper for the exact time.

Such an awesome post! This Veterans day is esp. important to me because my husband is currently in Iraq and I appreciate him and all our military who are over there doing a great job!! Thanks for being supportive of all of those who have served and are currently serving.
