Bars Downtown?

I'll be in Cincy Dec. 22-23... Where is a good bar in the downtown area??

Cadillac Ranch is a lot of fun it is right on the square downtown. There is also a Rockbottom brewery and Havana Martini Club. McCormick and Schmidts is anothe good option and they have a awesome happy hour.. Also, you can across the river to Newport on the Levee. You can actually walk across from the city across the purple pedestrian bridge. Newport has several resturants, bars and a Gameworks. Across the street from it is the Hofbrauhaus, which is the only other one outside of Germany.

Mainstrasse in Covington hs really nice bar/nightclub district. I like Pachikos, Cosmos and Strausshaus. Another good place to go at night is Mt. Adams Pavillion. This club has beautiful view of the city and is has young hip crowd. There are some good resturants by the Pavillion such as Teak and Mt. Adams Fish House.

It depends on what sort of bars you prefer. For an attractive, dressy crowd and some dancing I'd suggest Bang Nightclub which is off Main Street.
If you prefer a live band playing the songs everyone knows and a DJ playing pop no one has missed, I would suggest the Lodge. It's a fun 20-something crowd. Laid back and it gets crowded on the weekends.
Next to the Lodge is McFaddens which is bar with some music and a little dance floor.

Since I see that you are a Brown's fan... I suggest the Subway bar and lounge. It is located at 609 Walnut St.
Close to all of your downtown hotels.
