Actually there are some blue collar jobs where the men do wear pantyhose for extra warmth. They have to work in a real cold environment so they do it willingly. They don't do it for a fetish like you probably have. They do it only for practical reasons. You don't need women's permission if you want to be girlie. Just do it.

I do as a male crossdresser, but I don't wear anything above the waist, just denim and other fine fabric solid skirts, nothing flowery or flashy, because I present as a male only. Pantyhose are functional, they do have a purpose. In my case I wear for comfort and looks and for health reasons. I like them, my girlfriend does too and the people I meet at church, work and in groups a few days a week don't seem to mind at all. In fact, about 5 minutes into every conversation the first time someone meets me they will usually stop the conversation and say "you know, I forgot you were even wearing a skirt and pantyhose...it just seems normal now..." ...so there...
It's not about gender identity nor orientation or really about warmth...it's about self expression and that's what we need more of not less...variety is the spice of life...so if you have them, shave your legs and wear them, end of discussion...
The world is changing...change with it or your kids will be left behind...

That sounds pretty weird. I would really worry about my man if he wore pantyhose, especially when I know most guy where these things called "Long Johns". They are made of cotton and they are designed especially for men. They are used for warmth and comfort. If I were you I would suggest he buy some "Long Johns" to wear. They can be found at any locate department or wholesale retail store ( K Mart, Target, Dillards, Carson, Sport Mart etc).

As one of the posters pointed out, men can wear comfy running tights without the sex-appropriate police swooping in, so if guys want to wear those- why not?

In our household tights for men (i.e. me) are a fashion staple during fall and winter. Just tights and a comfortable old sweater or sweatshirt. I work from home, and that's all I wear. (It saves a lot on clothing expenses!) My girlfriend wouldn't have it any other way.

I think matters of dress, even the ones not based on logical reasoning and are more preferance related, are up to the individual.

It might be okay if you were stuck out in the middle of nowhere during a blizzard but otherwise - no, I wouldn't be okay with it. It would be a little creepy, like a woman wearing a jock strap.

I am actually pretty open to most things, but that just strikes me as really weird...it would freak me out if my boyfriend wore pantyhose...but I hate pantyhose and don't wear them myself...
