no he should not. That was a off air blurb that someone put on the air without permission. We all get angry from time to time and say things that are better not said. To all of you who judge him ask yourself have you ever said something out of anger that you really did not mean or would not normally say. We are all human.

Absolutely no. I don't care if he would have been on a racist rant that would have lasted for 15 minutes and every other word was ******. It was said in the privacy of his home and I am sure that he though it was a confidential conversation, which it should have been because recording a conversation without permission is illegal, with his son. He did not say this on his show while on the air with the intent to hurt anyones feelings. Regardless of how much of an *** you feel his beliefs make him, he is entitled to them. When we start punishing people for thinking a certain way, we are basically advocating censorship. To be honest I don't watch Dog and don't really care for him. People that do not like him should do the same, but advocating that we have a right to tell people how to think though punishment is wrong any way you look at it..

No. These guys are taking the bad guys off the streets. If people are saying to take him off the air, then why don't they speak against Mel Gibson's racial remarks against Jews, Jimmy Carter's racial remarks against Jews, and so on? People say things when they are angry or upset. Hey at least he apologized. Has Jimmy Carter apologize yet? I don't think so. People make mistakes. Keep Dog on the air so he can do his job.

It already has and the network made the decision as they had to to protect their image. That really isn't a subject of debate but more in the realm of if thousands of people protested to the network vs. the feelings of the company to the poor behavior that brought the cancellation on. The fact that the tape that was provided to them was given to was created by a credible source (his SON) and acknowledged by the star himself weighs greatly on that decision. There are NO denials or appeals being made and Dog admits he was in very bad decorum and wrong to speak in that manner. In light of the reactions to similar speech in the media and entertainment recently it seems that this action was a justifiable one, and one that will probably be reviewed at a later date if Dog can demonstrate that he is forthright with his apology and genuine as well as fully willing to face the consequences of his behavior and work to correct his mistakes. He may have already damaged his trust too badly to continue his career with that network or any others and it may be the end of his entertainment career.

Don Imus has seemingly resumed his career but there is a lot of opinion that his previous shows did not pull in good ratings outside a few markets and it may matter little.

Time tells everything.

Always remember what someone says when their mad. Because there telling the truth about how they really feel. Didn't one of the Baldwin boys have a phone call made public between him and his daughter. You people thought that was great. Well what's the difference. There is no difference make up your minds. Dogs family is made up of ex cons he is a convicted murderer and armed robber. White people don't get along with blacks in prison. Doggy is a racist pig. From what I hear Bubba said he was a damn good dancer in prison. I do watch his show. I don't want to miss it when his wife explodes from eating all that poi.

if he said all that nasty stuff on the air,i would definately say yes,but that conversation he had,was between him and his son, behind closed doors,so i say no,his son should be ashamed of himself since hes the one that sold this conversation to the press.i really dissagree with dogs views, and what was said, but it is a free country, and unfortionately he is allowed to think what he wants, yes he is an ***.

NO Dog's fans know him and love him.. His son sold him out for 15000.00 I hope it was worth it. Dog's heart is broken.
Also if you don't want to watch his "tacky wife" You can always switch the channel. I like his show myself, and do not believe he is a racist.

No it is ridiculous to judge a man by one incident in his life. An incident which was distasteful for sure, but it was also a private moment of weakness.

A moment made public by a lowlife dirtbag of a son.

Yes and no. Yes because it takes an incredible amout of ignorance to think and act that way, and no one that dumb should have their own show. No because now that he's exposed himself, what other damage can be done? As minorities, we always claim to rather have racism to our face than behind our back but when it is to our face we can't handle that either.
