Yes I agree, Cool Hand Luke was one of the best movies I ever seen. I think that a lot of Paul Newman movies were good, but that by far was one of the best. I can't say though that I would want that I would want to imitate him, nor would I want any man that I had to emulate him, but for the most part I do agree with you. I also think that each man should be his own man and not someone else.

EXCELLENT film. As for genre; it's a prison film, so I guess it would be drama, but it's also pretty funny- wait for the scene where he eats 50 eggs... And Paul Newman is always worth watching. Along the same lines might be Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid- highly recommended.

oh yea, I saw that movie when it first came out, and all the girls, were in love with paul newman, what a decent roll model we had back then, now a day's its just a joke!!!!!

It's a good movie, without a doubt. Newman's best? I'd have to say it's a draw between THE HUSTLER and BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID.
