If I had a way to help you, I would. Here's a suggestion: Look in the "blue" pages of the phone book. There are government agencies who deliver food, clothing, etc. Another thing is that MY local electric co. helps people who can't pay the bill. Call yours. They may have the same program. There are millions of pantries that deliver food. If you're in a small town, get the phone book from the nearest large city and the blue pages will be full if information. I pray for you and wish you the best.

I live in Ohio in Portage county. Here you would call First call for help. Have you gone to see if you qualify for food stamps or anything? Look up the county services where you live and call them. They might be able to help you. Do you have any food pantries where you live? Ours are done by the salvation army. Have you applied for HEAP? I don't know if it is too late in the year or not. Try the salvation army also. Why can they not help you?

Call the united way in your area, they will help you find the help that you need. Also look up food banks in your area, and many churchs also give help to those that need it. Including making sure your kids have a Christmas. United way will also help with that, with programs like toys for tots. I'm so sorry that your wife is sick, I truly hope things work out for you and your family.

See if you have a community action agency in your city. They have programs designed to help with utilities. As for food check with the salvation army and ask if they have a list or where you could get a list of pantries in your area. Salvation army can even help you with finding other resources. Our community is lucky because we also have crisis line that you can call that can provide the community resources. Also check with public aid and see if you can qualify for food stamps and other assistance. My prayers are with you both.
