Yes I do. I also remember my first remote only having 3 buttons on it. One to turn it on and off. One to change the channel up. One to change the channel down.

OH! And there were only 12 ( that included UHF AND VHF) channels on it. But hey, they were programmable. And it was color.

Yes, two dials. 2 to 13 and a U on one. 14 to 80 something on another. Upgraded to buttons on front of set. Channel 12 was a 1 then a 2. My aunt had a Sony with a corded remote later on. Then the new remotes. Crazy as antennaes on the roof, rabbit ears, cable, cable boxes, big a... yard mounted satellite dishes, little dishes of today. Or Beta or VHS, laser discs, dvd's, Tivo, etc. I was born in 1971.

I remember having a T.V that had no remote but I (the youngest) wasn't old enough to have any say in what we watched, hence I never had to get up and change the channel. YAY.

I remember well....how did we ever get along....I prefer the remote though..it was a great invention. Especially now that we have 200 channels of nothing to watch.

YES! The channel knob broke (of course), so we had the Vice Grip wrench on it to turn the dial.

I still do that. My TV remote broke and I don't have a new one. But I only use this TV to wake me up by turning on.

Unfortunately I have to do that because my high tech flat screen's remote broke and I can't buy a new remote anywhere. Gotta love technology.
