I love swimming in the ocean, with the floating and the waves and the salt smell and the hugeness of the thing; but, in the back of my mind, there is a small but persistent fear. In a pool, it's all just swimming. So, I can't really say. In a lake or river or pool, I'm not worried about my fellow aquatic citizens, which makes it safe and easy. But in the ocean, I am worried about them, which is exciting and mortal, which I take a different kind of comfort in. Interesting question.

Swimming pool. Lakes are disgusting; when you touch the bottom your feet squish in nasty yuck, plus you come out smelling like a porta potty... Pools are healthier, chlorine kills bacteria.

well, it depends. for one thing a swimming pool u know is clean cause of chemicals and chlorine, and the lake is way dirty. but a lake u can go fishing and can take a boat. so its a difficult question.
