You're going to think I'm making this up but bat poop is the best fertilizer known to man. They mine the stuff is South America and ship it all over the world. If you can get your hands on some of that stuff, I'd do it.

Osmocote continuous release plant food. Feeds for up to 4 months. you can pick it up at Home Depot or Lowes. Professionals swear by it
