For me personally, it's anything below 80% - the grading system at my high school is different than most schools, and an 80% is a C. I'm used to receiving mostly A's (high B's in math), so anything that's a C or below is "failing" to me.
For most people I know, "failing" is 75-70% and below.
Oh, in case you were wondering - my school's grading system:
A 100-93%
B 92-85%
C 84-77%
D 76-69%
and, for some reason, I've never seen E's given out... but I'm guessing that 69-67% would be an E, since 65% and below is an F.

60% In all honesty 70 but that is considered average
My kids all had 4.0 during the whole time they were in school
we were very poor and education was paramount. I always was on top of them and tried to help them in any way I could
In this day and age you need to be more than average I don't know how old you are but I hold your parents accountable for failing grades It ids a parents duty to help any kid reach its fullest potential Or Why the h--- Did you have them in the first place As they get older they become more accountable but if no one gave them the help to begin with then how do they expect success! I hope you are at least 70%

Well, some people are just below average in some things. I think it depends on the person really. Like, some people have trouble in math, so I would consider less than 50% in math to be failing (For that person While they are goo in reading I might consider below 70% to be failing. It depends on what the person is capable of.

In our school 85% is the passing average grade. Anything lower than that and you get kicked out. Sucks, really.
But in my standards anything lower than 70% is failing. Of course that depends on the grading system of school.

in my school a 70% and below is an F. And you fail the class with a D.

Definitely anything under 60% would be failing in my eyes. A D is not failing, but it's not passing either.

I think below 70 is failing, but I believe the report cards say it's 74 or less.

Well for me it's below 70% but I am not happy with 80% or under. For my final average, if I get under 85% I'm going to be very upset!
