You are right--the term does refer to a male homosexual, but it also is a word meaning :
"A bundle of twigs, sticks, or branches bound together. , or
a bundle of pieces of iron or steel to be welded or hammered into bars."

"a bundle of wood" was used for burning heretics (a sense attested from 1555), so that phrase fire and *****t was used to mean "punishment of a heretic." Heretics who recanted were required to wear an embroidered figure of a *****t on their sleeve, as an emblem and reminder of what they deserved. ( a heretic is one who holds religious beliefs that go against those of the Roman Catholic Church).

When I was in high school back in the 1960's, the term also referred to a half-smoked cigarette.

In the UK we've picked up the American meaning (again!) of homosexual but not yet the one of stupid. We are still at the stage of misusing dumb for that (because Americans are too stupid to tell the difference between the English word "Dumb" and the German word "Dumm" and the British too undiscriminating in their need to follow American Fashion). Also in Britain, a ****** is a type of rissole, that is a dish of meat and grain or bread. Let's see America misuse that!

Programmes will in maximum circumstances be in situation via your training. There do no longer seem any scholarships or financial help for being an replace pupil. save in mind that the united kingdom does now no longer have an analogous technique provided that the united kingdom, so it is not any longer likely it may be of any academic benefit (protecting now no longer the different comparable abilities, now no longer counting in the direction of your ultimate training skills etc)
