I was "brought up" correctly (1) Treat people as you wish to be treated (2) Don't lie, cheat or steal (3) Be blessed for what you have, rather than focusing on what do not have (4) Tell those you care about that love them. You don't need an excuse (5) Be accountable for what you say and do (3) It cost's nothing to have manners (6) Help someone if you can without condition or expectation. if you want something back, you aren't helping them, you're helping yourself (7) Have pride in yourself (8) Appreciate qualities like honesty & integrity(9) Believe in yourself and be true to yourself etc etc etc

Oh, how many. MOST were mentally or physically abused in some way. That is why this site is so nice. We may not know each other face to face but we know each other better than most of our friends and family members. We can trust most of those on this site. For many of us, we were not able to trust many in our life time. I can count on one hand those in my social world that I can trust. Here, every one is trustworthy. Those whose questions I answer anyway. Yea, Most people did have rough childhoods.

I was bought off and didn't care, but yeah I was treated great. I didn't learn how to deal with the real world, but I always had great stuff to occupy me.
