my koi is shooting out from the back little balls and they are all over my tank i would like to know if the little balls are babies or what please help i seperated them and put it in a small tank how if they are babies can i take care of them.

Your koi is laying eggs. If you don't have a male koi with her, don't bother to keep the eggs. They are not fertilized.

When you say little balls? Do they look like bubbles? because it could be a bubble nest many fish make when they are ready to mate.

The males usually produce the bubble nest and the girls lay the eggs that are then protected in the nest.

if a female comes to your house pregnant, than its more than likely she could produce a spawn of fry.

if they look like bubbles, its a nest, if they look like amber beads with black spots (eyes), they're eggs.
