I'm 19w2d with my first. i felt her at 15w5d. my husband felt her at 16w 3d. it didn't feel like flutters to me. More like thumps or kicks. or like when you swim in the lake and a fish nibbles your ankles.

well at 14 weeks your baby is only about 3 inches (8.5cm) long and weighs about 2 ounces (60grams) so I doubt it is the baby because they just aren't strong enough to feel yet.
However its not impossible! Usually from 18weeks is the prime time to feel baby moving as they are gathering strength. Sometimes it feels like the butterfly thing or bubbles popping in your tummy. Don't mistake it for gas though! If you fart or burp soon after it was probably gas!
When you get to about 22 weeks you will start to feel the actual kicks where they are bouncing off the walls of the uterus which is so much fun!
Good luck and try drinking a really cold fizzy drink and lay on your back. This might encourage the bubs to move around.
best of luck

They say 14 weeks is the earliest you would feel the baby, I started feeling the "quiver" or butterfly feeling around 15-16 weeks, but definately the baby moving around 19-20 weeks, that's also when my husband was able to start feeling the baby as well. Give it a little longer but your probly feeling it!! Now I'm 32 weeks and we are able to watch the baby move all around my stomache, it's soo crazy! So much to look forward to at every stage of pregnancy!

They say for a first baby you can feel movement about 18 to 20 weeks sometimes sooner. If you have had more than 1 then it will be sooner. Sometimes what you feel are just gas. When you really feel it the first time it will feel different than anything you have ever felt.

Well the standard answer is 16-20 weeks for first time pregnancies and sooner after the first one. However my sister swears she started feeling her baby around like 12 weeks. Of course he weighed 10 lbs and 7 oz when he was born and he was 2 weeks early so maybe he was just so big she felt him easier. LOL.

I would say mid four months prego....it feels like a large pressure, almost like gas, and it may be a teeny bit painful, or rather uncomfortable.... At five months the kicks really begin though.
It's weird when it starts, the movements, I am 30 weeks pregnant, seven and half months, and feeling it in the beginning was ...geez, can't explain.............. well, it's a beautiful thing.

I felt my baby kick at 15weeks. it was very light at first! as the baby grows bigger, you can tell already if it kicked or squirmed inside your tummy :) it hurts sometimes and it surprises you but all in all, you will enjoy it. :)
