are you 3 weeks since conception (so 5 weeks from LMP?) or 3 weeks from LMP? You must have gotten a great HPT because I've never got a positive a week before period is due.
Anywho, if its only been 3 weeks since your last period, it could be your period coming. If its been 5 weeks since your last period and you have absolutely tested positive then the cramping could be the normal pregnancy cramping that can happen in early pregnancy. I am 5 1/2 weeks and get it still even though all is okay. Its just your body and uterus adjusting to all the acitivity that is going on down there.
My back is constantly sore and I'm always dead tired. Its just normal early pregnancy stuff.
Unless you start bleeding bad or the cramps get bad enough that you think you would need a strong painkiller, then I wouldn't stress about it. Get lots of rests, drink heaps of water (dehydration and constipation can irritate your uterus) and schedule an appointment with your OB or Doc for the first of many visits!!
Good luck and RELAX! You are going to be fine if you stop stressing and just rest.

You can always call your doctor about it, just to make sure everything is ok. Some cramping is normal, but that's because everything is stretching, but being only 3 weeks, there isn't much to stretch yet, but I don't know for sure, your doctor could most likely help you out on this one.

How do you know you are 3 weeks along? Is this the third week after your last period or the sixth/seventh week after? Cramps are ok, but cramps and bleeding are not ok together. You could be having 'growing pains' where your uterus is stretching.

Yes, it is normal. FIrst, the tiredness is something that will begin and will get worse.......that was the worst part of pregnancy for me..... cramping especially since it is light is normal. In the beginning i thought that i was getting my period b/c i didn't know until about 6 weeks, so i always thought that i was getting my period......some spotting too, but it's normal.... it's okay to worry though but you're fine ok? Congrats!!

I found out that I was pregnant very early with both of my boys. I had cramping almost immediately, just like menstural cramps. I also had back pain and breast pain and tingling also immediately. You can check with your doctor just to be sure and to rest easy, but that was exactly how I felt and had two healthy babies! Good luck!

3 weeks? you found out early huh? i though most wont b able to tell until 4-6 weeks...
anyways, more than likely its your body "womb" adjusting to the pregnancy. back hurting, tiredness, and light cramping is usually signs of pregnancy, although, could be signs of your time of the month, did you take a pregnancy test already?
good luck!
