A couple of times, but not recently.

Thanks much, Ju Ju, for posting the Snopes, Urban Legends Reference Pages, web site. I use it frequently, and think that it provides a wonderful service.

This is the web site I use when I'm looking for programs to support the US troops:

America Supports You
Our Military Men & Women
Linked from the U.S. Department of Defense

Snopes.com is my favorite online site. Everytime I get what looks like it might be a legitimate cause from someone I trust, I always go there first.

Thanks for sharing this with others on this site. I hope everyone will go to snope.com, rightclick on the site, and make it either a favorite or a shortcut on their desktop.

Yeah, I have. That's to bad about the cards, it sounded like a good thing. We know you had good intentions. Saddly it's getting to where you have to check out everything anymore.

I think everybody has at one time or another. Don't feel bad about it - your heart was in the right place, and I think that counts for something :-)

Mistake easily made when it tugs at the old heart strings.

Not yet, though I don't know why not.

Juju, not to worry it's not just you, that is going around like wildfire. I sure would like to find out who started though...and why?
