Vince has no need to put on a great show like he used to. Tna is not the threat wcw once was in the wwf days. That plus the factor of being careful not to injure the superstars is what has watered down wwe.

here u go
1. NO COMPETITION- tna sux and no other competiton is out there, thats why i want tna to get good so vince is forced to put on a better show
2. FAN INTEREST- face it the fans that were once 12 are now 22 , they dont watch wrestling like they used to or maybe not at all, vince is puttin on a show for kids not teens or adults
3. WRITERS- holy crap this is the biggest problem of them all we need better storylines and better feuds so the fans can actually be interested in the show
4. BANNINGS- well now they dont go on top of cages or the cells b/c they dont want another person falling like mankind, nor do u see them using chairs or tables, concusions are a big problem now, espicially since beoit died, so they cant really have anyone be put in harms way, basically just plain matches or as simpe as can be in special matches.
5.THE WRESTLERS- the whole show is about them, in the 90's we had the best wrestlers in the worls, now not that many are left. i mean look we had, the rock, scsa, mankind, dx, at least 15 tag teams, the aliance, undertaker was scarier and performed better. now sure we have hhh hbk, taker, kane, and thats it, out of the original wwf, i mean he hardys arent even together, the superstars we once knew and loved have all aged, and pretty soon, all the present ones will be gone to, u cant be a wrestler forever, but the moments they all created will never be forgoten

The biggest problem is the so called creative team. Its not the talent that is a problem. When Stephanie and the other team members consistantly have problems coming up with good ideas (or fire people because they can't think of a way to use them), it is their fault and no one elses. The WWE was fine until Vince gave Stephanie all her power. It would be so much better if Shane actually had the power that Stephanie has. Well the rest of the writers would have to be replaced also.
Honestly I do not think the Rock could have became the star he is if he would have worked with the current creative team. Same thing with other past stars.

I agree, I haven't been watching wrestling that long but just from when i started watching it to now, it's changed and not for the better.
I think it has a lot to do with new talent not being able to fill the shoes of the top guys that are leaving/returning/getting old. Along with the fact they have new creative writers, they had much better storylines in the past.

No competition. Vince has no need to put on incredible shows anymore, what is the point? But WWE and TNA are not the only wrestling companies in the world you know, there are other feds like Ring of Honor, who always put on awesome matches and shows. ROH is a promotion for true wrestling fans and they don't care about that certain "look", they only care about pure wrestling. Look it up on YouTube or it's website www.rohwrestling.com for some matches. You won't be disappointed.

EVERYTHING.
Ok, I'm only 11, but I've been watching WWF, and the first 2 years of WWE, and THEY WERE GODLIKE.
WWF was the father of wrestling. I swear. Stone Cold, Triple H, Undertaker, Mankind, The Rock, The Hart Foundation, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Iron Sheik, Sgt. Slaughter... man...
And early WWE? SAME THING! Brock Lesnar and Goldberg, plus they still had Stone Cold and The Rock!
So damn awesome...
WWE now? GOOD F*CKING LORD! What the hell man!?
John Cena? Cryme Tyme? Hornswoggle? JBL? Good lord I'm gonna die... Oh and the gayest thing? New "ECW." The supposed resurrection of ECW is absolute sh*t. It's absolute crap. CM Punk has comitted career suicide. He was so awesome, now he's the stupidest wrestler ever. Well... one of them at least...
ROH, TNA, and all the Indy associations are trying to resurrect wrestling but WWE is just too damn big...
DAMN YOU VINCENT KENNEDY MCMAHON!!!

WWE- Invasion Storyline
WCW- nWo Storyline

You already summed it up.....now...thanks to Vince.....wrestling is virtually all fairytale storylines with a tiny bit of wrestling matches thrown in----What else would you expect from a guy like Vince who thinks up these crappy storylines while he is sitting on the crapper in his mansion ?

Seems that way. If you really want to see your pro wrestling experience improve from the big brands, then go support TNA and its lineup. More fans = bigger brand, and that will tip Mr. McMahon's hand, as long as the TNA owners doesn't succumb to his enterprising will.
