How do I find the filter for a 2000 Kenmore Coldspot Refridgerator?

Model Number: 106 70182000 Does the icemaker have a filter for this particular model? If so, where is it?

The only filter is a screen in the line where the incoming water is connected.

Check Sears.com, or go to a local Sears store and ask for help in appliances. The filter should be on the bottom edge of the fridge side.
