History will show that George Bush was a great President. Americans want to be sugar fed/spoon fed a bunch of half truths (think Clinton). Bush stays the course...and we will be better for it in years to come.

All thumbs down so far...too bad you guys aren't president

George Bush is the worst president in U.S. history. His approval ratings are dipping lower than Paris Hilton at a G-Unit party. He left a viable fight in Afghanistan to start an illegal war in Iraq.By doing this it is likely that the worlds greatest civilization will be partitioned into three countries and flushed down the drain..Bush has opposed crucial bill that would enhanced Stem Cell research. He has blocked a bill that would provide health care to adolescent kids. He attempted to sell port security operations to a Muslim company that hail from a nation that recognize the taliban as the sole rulers of Afghanistan. He has tighthened and placed embargoes on much needed arms shipment to the National Police Force of Haiti...And when that same country(Haiti) attempted to regain the 21 billion dollars that was extorted from them by France, and when they tried to double the minimum wage for their people to 2 dollars a day, guess what Mr. Bush did.....He supplied arms to a bunch of former military members to start a coup and at the same time he teamed up with France to kidnapped Haiti's president and send him to South Africa......By the end of this year George Bush will be spending 600 billion dollars on the disaster in Iraq.....Now you tell me...Does that sound like a good president.

There are a number ofreasons--but the chief one is causing the deaths of 4000 American soldiers by invading a country that did not attack us and had no connection tothe people who did.

There are those who still defend Bush's aggression in Iraq. They are as unpatriotic ans Bush is. And as immoral and unAmerican.

What these people do not seem to realize, however, is that their game of intolerance and violence is now fully exposed--and the American people are having none of it. They are the ones who are out of touch with America. Fortunately, the only shered these "neocons" have left is Bush and his veto power. And in anothr year, even that wil be taken away from then and they will be pushed back to the fringes of American society--though even that is better than they deserve.

i wonder why you think hes saved Iraq Cu's hes made it allot worse than it had used to be at Saddam's time for the people of Iraq.they don't have drinking water ;electricity(maybe just 2 hours daily),and they even have to wait for hours for fuel even though they have a lot of oil(cause most of it is going to Israel thanks to bush).millions of them have been killed and had their homes destroyed by mostly American troupes and terrorists have grown all over since the invaders have set foot.the Iraqis themselves say the us has not built one single school or hospital &... instead theyve ruined most of what they already had.i have this information cus i live in a neughber country

The list of reasons is so long and it grows longer all the time. Personally, it is his pandering to corporate greed and his political appointments (based on party loyalty) that I find repellent. History will not be kind to him. He has run the country as well as he ran his oil business.

A better question is why do 34% of the people in America still think he is a good president?

I think in part it's the media brainwashing that has done the most damage. Most people will read the paper or listen to the news and as far as they are concerned they believe they are being fed the truth. Most don't take time to check out the real facts and so they are misled. Really sad isn't it. I've got a book that is titled Thank-you President Bush and it has a lot of his accomplishments in it. I couldn't get over some of the great things he has done thats never been mentioned. I think more people like our President than they'd like you to believe.

Thanks to his incompetence and ignorance after elections, 9-11 occured.

After that, he broke international laws on toture, and waged an illegal war in Iraq. He has caused the US to be the most hated nation on earth, and pretends that he does not know why. He has ripped many international treaties apart.

The Bush administration has taken lying to an unprecedented level (although there were liars before him in office). He has also helped turn the government into an even bigger forum for special interest groups.

I think that his conduct has been shameful, and will have long term consequences. He has failed to unite the nation as claimed, but has left the US more divided between elft and right then ever before. ON top of that, he lost the 2000 election!

His actions will have consequences for the US for years on.

This one's not for the weak minded: They hate him for the same reason that people who can't read hate libraries. Pretty deep, huh?

I wonder how many of those people who now hate him voted in favor of his second term? I guess it's taking too long to fix an impossible situation.

i don't hate bush, I think that he was right by invading Afghanistan and i believe he was provoked by the threat of nuclear attack from Iraq. I think he is the best leader we could have had when 911 happened and this war would be over if the senate would let him do his job.
