its only going to be a two to four hour flight so it would not be much stress on my Guinea pig..and she is perfectly clean, vet checked..and the hotel we will stay in allows pets. If they are allowed how much would it cost (if anything) and should she get any shoots..and dont tell me its not worth it cause im crazy about my guinea pig!

Check different airlines. Some will allow a guinea pig in cabin and others won't. Most should let one in the pet compartment.
The cost is about $50 plus a carrier if you don't have an approved one. If flying in cabin, a soft carrier might only be allowed. Otherwise and hard sided one will be needed.
Shots are not necessary so long as you stay in the states. A health certificate might be required. Ask the airline.
When flying, you should put hay in the carrier for her to nibble on, but hay cubes would be a good idea for safety. Include a blanket and maybe a puppy pad in case she pees. Providing water might be tricky. If in cabin, take her to the washroom and bring a small bowl to offer her water. Otherwise ice cubes will prevent spillage but you should get her used to them before.
I would recommend you try to fly with her in cabin so you can watch her and keep her safe. Get her used to any carrier before you go and take her for car rides so she isn't too stressed out on the plane.

Some other tips include binging her pellets with you in your luggage somewhere. In the hotel, keep her in a bathroom or a pen with plastic under it so she can't do too much damage.

This question is probably best asked of the airline you're flying with. Different airlines have different regulations on what can and cannot be taken on the plane as a carry-on.

IF the airline does allow you to bring your pig, expect to have to go back to the veterinarian for a health certificate, which does require an examination.

Good luck.

you have to check with your airline, they all have different policies.. go to the website of the airline.. they usually have carry on and animal policies listed..

if you can bring her expect to need a vets health certificate and she will probably go on carry on with you.. im not sure about shots, but the vet should be able to tell you.. if your in the US make sure the state your going to allows guinea pigs..

good luck!

I don't think you can have them actually in the cabin of the plane, but I'm sure you can put them in the cargo hold if you put them in the right travel cage/crate. Dogs and cats can do that, so I don't think you'd have much trouble. Call the airline just to make sure.
