At the rate that the average hair grows, it has been calculated that the maximum length your hair could grow to in 8 years would be 33 inches.

60 inches is 5 feet. And you are 5' 6" tall.
So if you measure down 5 feet from your head, then where do YOU think you hair would end? Its just simple math.

Depends on your proportion. You could have a short torso and long legs, or a long torso and short legs. Also you have to consider the curvature and size of your head. I would guess it would most likely be about a ft from the floor.
