Well, I thought Brittany Spears looked really GREAT when she went into the ocean with her underwear on! The 3/4 thong was GREAT!! But we live in a world full of double-standards.

You can go to a beach in a bikini, no matter how small, how much string vs triangles, how much thong, and no one cares. People are HAPPY to look at you and your body.

But wear a one-piece suit in your backyard pool, and your neighbors call you to complain about the distraction in your back yard. That is what they did to my son and his girlfriend.

She was too indecent. In a 1 piece. No thong. No european cut, etc. We had to tell them to stop swimming in the pool and come inside of the house.

Even shorts is questionable. If you are a child or a teener, short-shorts are OK. Get over 30, unthinkable! to wear.

People act like the human female has been on this earth for only a 100 years. Show your body, and everyone is screaming "indecent."

What a crazy world we live in.

Huh? Vampchick, No offense but there is no way that women invented bras. A man invented the rib crushing cleavage maker. I'm sure a man invented bikinis too as an excuse to watch women walk around in their underwear, course sometimes that is a punishment more than a pleasure HA HA

My guess is that women invented bras and men liked looking at us in them but didn't want our idea to control them, so they reinvented them as bikinis and outlawed underwear in public, forcing us to support them in all their sexist-ness.

Bathing suits are designed to not be transparent. Underwear does not have this requirement, as it is worn under clothing.

u have always wondered that myself.my sister would wear a two piece all summer but if we saw her in her slip she would be so embarrassed. the slip and panties cover up more than most bathing suits.
