We watched it today, Michael (John Travolta) is an angel who said, "I'm a writer too, I wrote Psalms 85. Only it wasn't called 85 when I wrote it, I didn't know they were gonna gather them and number them."
Ever see it?

MakeitRight: I thought it was funny too when the girl said, "all the girls like him but I don't, I'm sorry Michael." and he said, "I put a block on you."

I sure did, Wickwire. When you asked the question last week about the Angels, I chose Michael. It was so precious. I have Psalm 85 marked as the one Michael claimed he wrote. Since David did not write all the Psamsl, who knows...anyway, I loved that movie so much. It was funny that all the women flocked around him and that he smelled like cookies. That was one precious show. I have watched it more than three times. I loved it when he brought the little dog back to life. That was beautiful.
Thanks for the question. I hope you liked it.

I like this movie. I especially like the scene in the bar when he dances with all the women. To see him move even in the huge coat is a delight. The rest of the actors are fine, too. I am another one who loves the music from this movie. The line "I am not that kind of angel" is one of the best things he said.

I've been into John Travolta since Grease. He was such a dirty looking angel, with black trench coat and unpressed white shirt but he made the role. Constantine is the Kenau Reeves movie I think Scooter was referring to.

Yes, I loved it too - I especially love the final piece of music, "From the Dark Side of the Street, To the Bright Side of the Road", by Van Morrison , where they are dancing down the street. Great music, quirky and funny movie.

Yes It was a good film, great music by the Mavericks, in fact I used to use one of the songs from the film when I taught Linedance, I Don't Care, super track and a real up tempo dance.

I think many of you didn't get
the point. Michael had the
name of a divine angel, but he
wasn't from heaven.
That's why he lusted for all
the earthly delights.
He was really an angel from
the underworld. that's why he
wore that black raincoat
all the time. He had angelic
powers but they came from
another source than heaven.

Hey Wick... Yes we have seen it... a little out of the box isn't it... kinda makes you wonder!
There is another out that is similar with the Matrix guy in it... Keanu Reeves?... I wouldn't let your son watch it... Can't remember the name but it starts with a C. and it's been playing on some of the movie channels lately.
