I sold my California condo a few year ago (2003) then moved to Las Vegas. I now HATE living in Las Vegas and want to go back to California. I now truly regret selling my California condo, because I CAN'T go back to it now. The worse...the value of the California condo sky-rocketed and the value of my Vegas house DROPPED. Have you ever made the same mistake I have and now have major regret? If so, how do you deal with it?

I'm sad for you. That was a big move....I think I'd try to stay put for a little while and see what the market does. I'm on the opposite side of the country. Houses are a dime a dozen here and people have entered the "desperate to sell" stage, so the asking price has been about 30 grand more then what they have been settling for....maybe you should see if you can rent your Vegas place (use a company) and make an offer on a place in Ca....because if the market starts to improve, those sky rocketing condos are only going to go higher....You have a hard decision....Good Luck!

It's called seller's remorse and buyer's remorse. Everyone suffers from it.
