I know this guy that is 25 years old and has ended friendships with women because they didn't agree with him wanting to date 50 year old women. These women he ended friendships with were closer to his age. This guy says that from now on he refuses to be friends with women his age, because they are too judgemental.

No, that's just his preference and is okay. I have a friend who is 27, and he prefers older women. He says that girls/women his age or younger are too silly and don't understand life. He says he has yet to meet a "younger" woman with whom he is able to have an intelligent and meaningful conversation.

Hey, that's his call. I think he's pretty damn stupid, because the way things are in the world today, people need all the friends they can have. I know I do. He doesn't have to date these women, but some of them might make awfully good friends. It's not mean on his part, just kind of dumb.

i know guys like that they say all the younger women want to do is drink and do drugs. but dont worry gals those old farts want younger women when they get 40-50 to make themselves look macho.

yes it is. I think it's wrong. Picking love over friendship? That's low. I would be devastated if my friend(who is a guy) would do that to me. We're really close and even if he does have his own group in school and I have my gal pals, we're still there for each other.

I try not to be friends with men 2 years older than me because that age group seems to always try to get in my pants.
