I took the heat for my younger sister many times. The one I remember the most was when I was 7 and she was 6. My dad had been painting the dog house black and gone in for lunch. The next thing I knew my sister had started painting the family car.The car was red and big,it was in 1980. Well,to say the least my dad was pissed and asked who did it and I took the blame. That was the worse spanking I received in all my life.I don't think I could sit for three or four days but it spared my sister.Who as an adult hates my guts, go figure.

I think I was always telling on my brother except for one time I saw him and my cousin out in an old building smoking when they were 10. My brother was mean to me when we were growing up so I usually told things he done especially when he did something to me. LOL. Oh yeah, I just remembered I almost drown out with my brother and another cousin when I was 4 years old and my brother and cousin begged me not to tell. I didn't tell my mother until I was an adult. She was shocked and said I should have told her. Then she still fussed at my brother who said I was crazy and nothing like that happened that it was only 6 inches of water.

I never had too my brother was always getting caught and was already getting a spanking way before I ever even knew what was going on!!! lol

Yeah, I covered for my brother...even took the blame for him a lot of times when he was smoking, drinking and 'whatever' in the house when we were teens.
