I would turn it in...didn't you see the special from either 20/20 or Dateline NBC? I can't remember which? At any rate, as long as the original purchaser of the IPOD has registered it with Apple, that enables them to track where it is when another person/user tries to go and register it again. They track it by the information given during the registration process (i.e. address, telephone number, etc.) They cold-busted those thieves during that simulated sting operation. Good luck with your new found IPOD....PEACE!

Give it to the front desk. Think about how much you want it, and realize the person who lost it probably felt that way too and now feel worse 'cause they lost it.
It's ALWAYS best to do the right thing! You will find that doing so will turn things around for you so that you will be blessed for doing what is right.

I would turn it in to the front desk people. I've lost an MP3 player before and it hurts to lose something that valuable.
Please do the right thing and turn it in. Think about the person who lost it. What happened if you lost something valuable and no one returned it to lost and found and decided to keep it?

If you lost one, would you want the person who found it to keep it or try to get it back to you?
Whenever I am faced with an ethical dilemma, I ask myself, would the world be better if (for example) everyone kept what they found or if everyone tried to return what they found to its rightful owner?

Turn it in. Dishonesty is never rewarded - somewhere down the line, you will pay for it.
