Have you ever eaten snake meat? Did it really taste like dog?

Ive eaten dog inTaiwan And Snake in Montana. Dog wasnt that great.. but I dont think snake tastes anything like it I do think snake tastes like really greasy chicken.

Its such a funny question which assumes if you have eaten a snake then you have eaten dog. Snake is a very popular meat in many parts-lean and mean.Cant say what dog taste like but mine is always sniffing some other dogs butt which is a turn off..

Yes I did.. quite a few years back at school I think... not sure where but they had shark, snake, frog.. and some other things that you wouldnt regularly eat... I dont remember what it tasted like... but laughed when I read your question because most people compare everything to chicken... I have never tried dog nor would I ever.... so I wont be able to answer this question....

I've eaten rattlesnake meat a few times, but no dog (that I know of).
The snake meat is actually not bad!

I have eaten rattlesnake and it's really no big deal. They charge a lot for it and it's a bit chewy, but side by side with fried Breast of chicken I would fail a taste test. The same is true for alligator.
Much hype, no substance.

certainly haven't tasted snake meat
but dog meat I have, to me tastes bit like chicken/beef that was (8 years ago lol when I went to the Phillippines)

I have had several types of snake meat; cottonmouth, rattler and rat snake. No they taste more like gamey bird - pheasant or grouse than dog or chicken. My favorite is to do a light snake chili or cook it like shredded chicken ala Mexican style.
