this is very hard. i know of an older female friend,she use to be very vibrant,funny,enjoying life and very sweet person, she rarely complains, by seeing her once a while i have noticed that the light in her eyes has gone, no more laughter, no more making every one else to smile or make them comfortable, so i had to ask her, and she told me that she has fallen in love with a younger man, and she is in pain and agony, the one mistake that she made is that she told him about her feelings and he totally flipped out about it. No further conversation between them, now my friend wanted to tell him that just because she is in love with him it does not mean that
she wanted to be with him right away or start a relationship in any shape or form, she never said that she wants to have an affair with him, all she did she told him the truth.
Some times in life things happens that none of us can control it.
no one can ever explain matters of hearts, and no one has the right to judge or criticize what ever happens between two mature adults.
the only thing that i could tell my friend was, just hold on, and see how things will progress.

and all your friend can do is talk to some one and try to be a patient and as i told my friend just hang in there.

Theres still plenty of women in that age group he can ask out I am sure..He just needs to buck up and be patient about it all,geesh,you can only do so much,he has to make himself available to them..good luck!

at.23. he needs to understand one thing if it wasnt meant to be he needs to look at it that way .and find another woman in her.50.s that he likes and she likes him as well my opion?
