You say it's the most dangerous day of the year for women and that domestic abuse is highest that day. Do you skip town, check into a hotel for a couple of days, and lay low until the storm passes? What about feminists who don't have much money and can't afford that option?

Neither my husband nor I are football fans so we use the time to go shopping or to see a movie.

I don't have a television. And, football bores me. My friends, though, love Super Bowl Sunday and are big-time into Fantasy football. I used to love providing the fanciest "spread", the best buffet and goodies and feast that I could conjure for them and then serve as hostess, making sure everyone had what they needed and were having a good time. There's more fun in that for me than in watching sports. These days, I hit the casinos for some poker on Super Bowl Sundays. I usually make a couple of grand then because even the most die-hard poker players are distracted somewhat by the game. Easy pickin's. : )

I consider myself a feminist- though probably more in the late 18th century Mary Wollstonecraft way than the "feminist" you're thinking. I snuggle down into the couch, grab a bag of nachos, and thoroughly enjoy making an *** of myself, with everyone else in the room.

No, feminists know that old claim is not true.

I cook in the afternoon and watch the game at night with the hub, his son and the kid's friends.

Feminists don't say that. It's an urban legend, which is easily checkable on snopes.com (see below). What a completely ridiculous strawman.

Anyway, last time the Steelers were in it, I watched. I think I was probably working this past one.

I used to watch it every year whether there was a man there or not. Football isn't that hard to understand. I haven't watched it lately because I have to work Sunday evening.

I watch the Super Bowl like all the men.

I watch the Super Bowl with my friends and family, eat buffalo wings, laugh at the half-time show, and sometimes yell at the television.

I host a Superbowl party with my fiance. We usually do themed foods- i.e., foods from the town of each team.

Women like football, too! I am hoping my teams will win tomorrow (Broncos and fantasy).

I don't usually do anything. It's like any other day to me, I don't like watching sports. [I know, I admitted that I don't like the super bowl. Shoot me].
