Hello,

Some are totally legit. I have been doing them for a little over 2 months now, as well as have my kids on one company that is made just for them, and my daughter did get a check from them just a few weeks ago...and it cleared at the bank.

Be careful of the ones that say that they will pay you up to $75 an hour though...try Lightspeed, MySurvey, Your2Cents, BuzzBack, Harris Poll, EPoll, and Zoom Panel(there are more even, but can't recall them right now)...and since your 15 try TeensEye. Do not fall for Vindale, or others like them, they aren't true survey companies. You should be doing surveys for like Coke or McDonalds...not signing up for Efax or Stamps.com and then taking a survey on the service. That will be your clue as to if the company is legit or not.

And...please know that I am speaking from experience...I(in the early 1990's) worked for a Market Research company and can tell you that they have switched from paying people to survey you over the phone and in malls...ect...to paying the people that they survey. Good luck and have fun with it.

I actually make money from doing surveys at home, so I am disagreeing with the answers so far. I dont make a HUGE amount, but I do have a couple extra $100 coming in each month. I do product testing, too. Heres a list of the companies I get surveys and product testing offers from. This is a personal list from my own experiences that I KNOW for a FACT that really do pay, good luck and hope you enjoy it! :)

If surveys say they will give money for completing surveys they are usually true. Just make sure that they are free surveys and not one which will sell you a monthlyrate in order to participate. You are on the internet. Ask that question.

they will make you sign up for something that you have to pay for, and then you will get a fraction of that money back (maybe).

Honestly, do you think that someone would pay for your opinion? Remember how many telephone calls your family would receive on "surveys" - no one ever offered to pay them, did they?

I have one survey I belong to that pays me in scrip - basically I can turn it into frequent flyer miles (or in my case, a Wall Street Journal subscription) - I make about $300 a year, which gets me 2,000 frequent flyer miles and a free subscription.

Not in any decent amount. There are sites where you might make a couple dollars a week. If they ask you for money to "join", they're a scam.
